Shay Logan signs new Aberdeen deal

Aberdeen right-back Shay Logan commits his future to the Scottish Premiership side by signing a new two-year contract.

Shay Logan has agreed a new contract with Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen.

The right-back had been due to become a free agent at the end of the season when his previous deal expired.

However, the 28-year-old has now put an end to the speculation surrounding his future by signing a fresh two-year deal.

"I was always confident we could try and get there and get a deal done. It is absolutely brilliant news," manager Derek McInnes told the club's official website.

"Shay since he came to the club two and a half years ago has been very consistent with his performances and has become a firm favourite with everyone at the club including the supporters."

Logan has scored four goals from his 41 appearances this campaign.
