Great Britain's James Heatly, Jordan Houlden make 3m springboard final

Great Britain will have two representatives in the men's 3m springboard final at the European Games after both James Heatly and Jordan Houlden make it through qualification.

Great Britain divers James Heatly and Jordan Houlden have both qualified for the men's 3m springboard final at the European Games in Baku.

Heatly finished the preliminary round in second place with a score of 508.95, second only to Russian Federation diver Ilia Molchanov who finished out in front with a score of 528.45.

Further down the final preliminary rankings, youngster Houlden finished in ninth spot with a tally of 473.90, giving him the chance to compete in the 12-man final on Saturday afternoon.

Russia currently top the medals table with 49 accolades overall, with Great Britain sitting in ninth place.
