Gary Anderson pleased with form

Betway Premier League contender Gary Anderson admits that he is pleased with his current form ahead of his latest encounter with Adrian Lewis.

Gary Anderson has admitted that he is pleased with his current form ahead of tonight's clash with Adrian Lewis.

The 43-year-old, who has won three of his opening five Betway Premier League games, is currently fourth in the table after defeating Phil Taylor last week.

"I'm pleased with how my form's coming back and I'm getting back to my best," Anderson is quoted as saying by the Nottingham Post.

"Even though I beat Phil last week I still think I can improve and I'll have to against Adrian.

"In the last couple of years I've been down at the other end of the table so it's nice to be in the top four at the moment, but there's still a long way to go in the league."

Elsewhere, league leader Peter Wright takes on Simon Whitlock in the opening game of the night.
