Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong is facing a criminal investigation in Spain, it has been reported.
ABC News broke the news through the network's official Twitter account this evening.
Their correspondent Neal Karlinsky added that the case related to doping and "distribution" in Alicante, Valencia, Gerona and Tenerife.
The American admitted earlier this year to using performance-enhancing substances to help him win seven Tour de France titles, which he was stripped of following a USADA investigation.
