Chris Froome to release test results

Two-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome reveals that he will be making a series of test results public in a bid to prove that he rides clean.

Chris Froome has revealed that he will undergo a series of physiological tests to prove his performances at the Tour de France were clean.

The Team Sky rider secured his second yellow jersey in three years last month, but was spat at and had urine thrown at him by some spectators who did not believe he was not boosted by performance enhancing substances.

The 30-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Plenty more testing and analysis to be done, I will be sharing the results later in the year."

Froome's victory gave Team Sky their third Tour de France win in four years, following Sir Bradley Wiggins's 2012 success.
