Jess Varnish wins second Commonwealth bronze

England cyclist Jess Varnish claims her second bronze of the Games after pipping Fatehah Mustapa to third place in the individual sprint.

England cyclist Jess Varnish has won her second bronze medal of the Commonwealth Games after her third-placed finish in the individual sprint event this afternoon.

Varnish, who claimed a podium finish in the 500m time trial earlier in the week, followed that triumph by pipping Fatehah Mustapa to third at the Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Australia's Stephanie Morton won the event, finishing first ahead of compatriot Anna Meares to help her nation move to 21 gold medals thus far, one ahead of England in the table.
