Middlesex confirm that West Indian seamer Corey Collymore is to leave Lord's after three seasons with the 10-time County Championship winners.

Middlesex have confirmed that West Indian seamer Corey Collymore is to leave Lord's.

The 35-year-old, who has taken 86 first-class wickets in three years with the 10-time County Championship winners, will not be offered a new contract ahead of next season.

Middlesex managing director of cricket Angus Fraser said: "He is a wonderful pro and an exceptional man - proud, honest, hard-working and has set a wonderful example to our young and seasoned cricketers.

"At Middlesex, we are fortunate enough to have a number of talented young fast bowlers who need to be pushing for first-class cricket.

"The challenge for them is to seamlessly fill the hole created by Corey's departure."

Collymore, who was born in Barbados, has played in 30 Tests for the West Indies, taking 93 wickets in the process.
