The third Test between Pakistan and New Zealand in Sharjah has been suspended for the day following the death of Australia batsman Phil Hughes.
The 25-year-old failed to recover in St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney after his head was struck by a ball bowled by Sean Abbott during a Sheffield Shield match on Tuesday.
As a result, day two of the third Test in the United Arab Emirates has been suspended, with Pakistan manager and chief selector Moin Khan saying: "The whole team is shocked and saddened. He was here with the Australia limited-overs squad and was very cheerful. He was always ready to talk about cricket."
Pakistan, who currently lead the series 1-0, will resume day two on Friday with Mohammad Hafeez (178 not out) and Misbah-ul-Haq (38 not out) at the crease on 281-3.
