New Zealand are on 79-1 at lunch on day one of the third Test against England in Auckland.

England have taken one wicket at lunch on the first day of the third Test against New Zealand in Auckland.

New Zealand enjoyed a steady session with the bat at Eden Park to leave them on 79-1 going into the afternoon.

Peter Fulton is currently on 41, while Hamish Rutherford made 37 before he was caught by Alastair Cook off the bowling of Steven Finn.

The two sides are tied at 0-0 in the three-Test series after their first two matches ended in draws due to bad weather.
