Batsman Virender Sehwag is left out of the India squad that will compete at June's Champions Trophy.

The Indian selectors have left out Virender Sehwag for this summer's Champions Trophy in England.

The 34-year-old is widely considered to be one of the most dangerous batsmen in the 50-over format of the game.

However, following a poor run of form that also resulted in him dropping out of the Test team, he has been omitted from the trip in June.

Spinner Harbhajan Singh has also been left out in favour of younger players.
