James Allenby scored an impressive century as Glamorgan beat Middlesex Panthers by six wickets in their T20 Blast clash at Old Deer Park tonight.
A spirited innings saw the bottom-placed Panthers elect to bat as Eoin Morgan's side set a target of 184 - their second-highest total of the competition thus far.
Dawid Malan took Glamorgan for an unbeaten half-century to end their innings on 64*, while Morgan and Dan Christian also provided valuable contributions with runs of 41 and 48 respectively.
However, Allenby and co proved equal to the task of 184. The skipper and Jacques Rudolph formed a formidable opening partnership, taking some 130 runs between them before Neil Dexter finally broke up the pairing by dismissing Rudolph for 42.
Allenby was dismissed by James Harris on 105 in the closing stages, but his contribution was enough as Stewart Walters and Chris Cooke helped Glamorgan over the line to finish on 187-4 and seal their 10th victory of the T20 Blast campaign.
