Alex Hales: 'Entire England one-day team behind Alastair Cook'

Alex Hales backs Alastair Cook to lead the England one-day side following calls for the captain to quit.

Alex Hales has insisted that the entire England team are backing Alastair Cook to continue within the one-day fold.

Former teammate Graeme Swann recently called on Cook to step down from one-day international cricket, but Hales is standing by the captain.

"Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but the guys in the dressing room are 100% behind Alastair," Sky Sports News quotes Hales as saying.

"If you look at his record in one-day cricket it's a pretty good one and all of the guys are backing him to lead us to bounce back in the series."

England suffered a 133-run defeat to India in the second ODI in Cardiff on Wednesday.
