Alex Hales will make his one-day international debut for England in today's second clash against India in Cardiff.
The 25-year-old, who has been in impressive form with the bat, has been selected to start for England to make his long-awaited ODI debut.
The hosts, who recently secured a Test series win over India, have also named James Anderson in the team, alongside Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes.
Captain Alastair Cook won the toss and opted to field first against India.
