England captain Alastair Cook banned from fourth ODI against Sri Lanka

England captain Alastair Cook is suspended from Sunday's fourth one-day international against Sri Lanka due to a slow over-rate in yesterday's victory.

England captain Alastair Cook has been banned from the fourth one-day international against Sri Lanka after being found guilty of a slow over-rate in yesterday's contest in Hambantota.

England went 20 minutes over the scheduled time to bowl their overs in a rain-delayed five-wicket victory on Wednesday.

As a result, Cook has been penalised with a one-match suspension after he was found guilty of a similar offence against India in the summer.

Eoin Morgan will captain the side in the fourth ODI in Colombo on Sunday.
