Paul Collingwood has been named as England's assistant coach for the team's upcoming limited-overs tour of the West Indies and the Twenty20 World Cup.
The 37-year-old played in 68 Tests, 197 one-day internationals and 35 Twenty20 internationals for his country between 2003 and 2011.
He also captained England to Twenty20 World Cup glory in the Caribbean back in 2011.
Limited-overs coach Ashley Giles told the England and Wales Cricket Board's official website: "Colly will add great energy and a winning T20 pedigree to the tour party. We are really looking forward to his involvement."
Collingwood will remain as the captain of Durham during his short-term contract with the England setup.
