Durham cricketer Paul Collingwood has insisted that Jonathan Trott's health takes priority over the Ashes series following the England batsman's exit from the tour in Australia.
The 32-year-old left the squad today due to a stress-related illness, which coach Andy Flower claims he has been "struggling" with for some time.
Collingwood wrote on Twitter: "Cricket is important but your health is your life. Hope Trotty recovers enough to get back to the top #trott #ashes
"Now is the time to fight for these Ashes like never before, face to face. Good luck boys you know you can do it #england #ashes."
England currently trail 1-0 in the series.
