England captain Stuart Broad has insisted that his side have learned from their T20 World Cup exit at the Super Eights stage.
Broad's team headed into the competition as the defending champions from two years ago. However, their quest to win the title for a second time was halted today by the hosts, who claimed the victory by 20 runs.
With the likes of youngsters Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales and Danny Briggs all included in the England team, Broad has insisted that they can build upon their experiences.
"It's disappointing because the guys have tried really hard," Broad told Sky Sports News. "We've learnt a huge amount because we had an inexperienced side coming out here."
England's next outing will see the Test team take on India in November.
