England's James Anderson has been named the top-ranked Test bowler in the world for the first time in his career.
The position was previously held by Anderson's teammate Stuart Broad.
However, the 33-year-old's figures in the ongoing series against Sri Lanka, which include three five-fors, have seen him jump to the summit.
Broad has actually dropped down a further place to third, with India's Ravichandran Ashwin now separating the two England seamers.
