England cricketers refused to discuss their teammate Jonathan Trott as they flew out of Brisbane earlier today.
It was confirmed yesterday that the 32-year-old had left the squad for the remainder of the Ashes in Australia because of a stress-related illness.
A handful of players, including Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann, came out in support for Trott on the social networking site Twitter soon after the news had broken.
However, when asked about Trott by reporters at the airport about the situation, captain Alastair Cook, as well as Kevin Pietersen, Michael Carberry and Swann, opted not to reply.
The second Test is due to get underway in Adelaide on Thursday, December 5.
