Australia's Mitchell Starc has revealed his disappointment over missing out on a maiden Test century as he fell one run short in Mohali.
Starc was caught behind off the bowling of Ishant Sharma for 99 joining 22 other Australians, including Shane Warne, to have made the score in a Test match.
He told the Canberra Times: "To fall one short is disappointing and hopefully I can get another chance one day.
"I felt a bit nervous and it probably felt a bit harder to play the spinners and all bowlers when you get to 99. It's something I can learn from and I'm still happy I got that far."
India closed day three on 283-0, just 125 runs behind the Aussies' total of 408.
