Australia bowling coach Craig McDermott has claimed that Mitchell Johnson is the best fast bowler in the world ahead of the series against South Africa.
Proteas duo Vernon Philander and Dale Steyn currently occupy the top two bowling spots in the ICC rankings, but McDermott believes that Johnson is the complete package.
"I think he probably is the best fast bowler in the world at the moment," the Australian coach told reporters. "He knows his game very well, and his accuracy is brilliant at the minute, it has been all season.
"And he really understands where his wrist position is, with his alignment though the crease, he really believes himself so he's the full package. On top of that, he's a great bloke."
The Test series between the two sides begins in Centurion on Wednesday morning.
