Australia have reached lunch on 83 runs for the loss of three wickets on the opening day of the first Test against South Africa in Centurion.
The Proteas won the toss and elected to field this morning, which proved to be a shrewd move as Dale Steyn bowled out David Warner for 12, with Australia on 15 runs.
The bowlers began to take control of proceedings when Chris Rogers was sent packing after claiming just four runs from 19 balls, leaving the Aussies without their opening batsmen.
Alex Doolan and Shaun Marsh steadied the innings by totting up the visitors' run-rate, but the partnership was broken up when Doolan was dismissed for 27.
Marsh (23 not out) and Michael Clarke (11 not out) will resume at the crease after lunch.
