Richard Shaefer has said that Anthony Ogogo has the skills and personality to be a global star of boxing.

The 23-year-old signed a professional contract with Golden Boy Promotions earlier this week, following his bronze medal success at the Olympics this summer.

The CEO of Golden Boy told Sky Sports News: "I have no doubt that Anthony has the skills in the ring and the personality outside of it to make him a global boxing star.

"We are proud to have him on our team and this is just the first step in our growing commitment to British boxing."

Amir Khan, Floyd Mayweather Jr and David Haye have also been represented by the company.
