David Price keen to steal spotlight in Berlin

British heavyweight David Price admits that he hopes to use his fight against Irineu Beato Costa Jr in Berlin to remind people of his explosive power.

British heavyweight David Price believes that it is the right time for him to showcase his talent on a bigger stage.

After losing twice to Tony Thompson, Price has endured a low-key return to the ring, but the Liverpudlian has insisted that his fight against Irineu Beato Costa Jr in Berlin on Saturday night is the perfect chance for him to make a positive statement.

The 31-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's the perfect opportunity. I'm fighting on Sky again and I have a wide audience watching the fight.

"There's going to be quite a lot of British fans in Germany as well, so it's a perfect opportunity for me to remind everyone.

"These three fights - they have pretty much gone under the radar in the UK, which was fine by me for the rebuilding purpose, but now is the time to start raising eyebrows again."

The fight takes place on the undercard of the WBO super-middleweight title rematch between Arthur Abraham and Paul Smith.
