British featherweight Josh Warrington has been handed a bout against Edwin Tellez in Berlin next weekend.
Warrington, who currently holds the European title, is scheduled to face Dennis Tubieron for the WBC international belt in April, but promoter Eddie Hearn is keen for him to gain some rounds in Germany.
Despite being just 20 years of age, Tellez has competed in 26 bouts and, although he has only won nine times, he has only been stopped inside the distance on two occasions.
The fight will take place on the undercard of Paul Smith's attempt to win the WBO super-middleweight title from Arthur Abraham.
