Floyd Mayweather Jr has said that he is ready to fight Manny Pacquiao in May next year.
The pair have been in unfruitful negotiations over a bout for years, and it seemed that any chance of the two meeting was slim until recently, when Pacquiao called on Mayweather to make the fight happen.
The American who is unbeaten in 47 fights, claimed that he is the better boxer as he called for the fight to happen for the first time in recent months: "I know that he's not on my level. The fans would love to see the fight and of course I want to go out with a bang", he told reporters.
Mayweather did warn his rival that they will not be splitting the money, as the Philippine fighter is not unbeaten: "You lost twice and you're coming back begging for the same money? That's not going to happen."
Mayweather last boxed in September when he beat Marcos Maidana.
