David Haye has claimed that he did not hit Dereck Chisora with a glass bottle during their brawl in Munich last weekend.

The pair scrapped at a press conference after Chisora's defeat to Vitali Klitschko. Haye had been working as a television pundit for the fight.

"I didn't hit him with that bottle, I hit him with my fist," Haye told ITV's That Sunday Night Show.

"It was a glass bottle but, if I'd had my mobile phone in my hand, it would have been a mobile phone. If I'd had a hot dog in my hand, it would have been [that].

"It wasn't a beer either, it was a bottle of lemonade."

The 31-year-old, who retired in October 2011 following his WBC title defeat to Wladimir Klitschko, also said that he does not want to fight Chisora.

"I've got no desire to fight Chisora inside the ring or outside the ring," he added. "He's lost his last three fights (last three of four)."

However, Haye has not ruled out returning to the ring for a match with either of the Klitschko brothers.
