German detectives may have to wait two weeks before they can call in David Haye for questioning over his scrap with Dereck Chisora.

German authorities may have to wait up to a fortnight before they can question former British WBA champion David Haye over his brawl with fellow Brit Dereck Chisora, according to the Daily Mail.

The 31-year-old, who jetted off to Las Vegas yesterday, is still wanted by police in Munich for his involvement in the fracas with Chisora at the weekend.

While a five-year prison sentence for 'dangerous assault' is unlikely, the former professional could face a hefty fine.

The scrap during Chisora's post-fight press conference with Vitali Klitschko has caused widespread criticism of Haye and the former heavyweight champion, who could face a lifetime ban from the sport.
