Stuart Hall: 'I will be too strong for Paul Butler'

IBF bantamweight champion Stuart Hall insists that he will be "too big" for Paul Butler when they meet in Newcastle on June 7.

British bantamweight Stuart Hall has revealed that he doesn't anticipate any problems in overcoming Paul Butler when they meet for the IBF title in June.

Hall will be making the second defence of the world strap that he won last year, and the North-East fighter, who will be competing at Newcastle's Metro Arena, believes that he will be "too big" for his unbeaten opponent.

The 34-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Butler is a very good fighter, and his performances have got himself into this position.

"But he's also talked himself into this fight by making derogatory comments and I'm really looking forward to making him eat his words.

"I'll be too big, too strong and he'll regret getting this chance. I've worked hard to become world champion and I won't be losing the title."

Hall has 16 wins in 20 professional encounters, while Butler has 15 successive victories to his name.
