George Groves prepared for Christopher Rebrasse fight

British super-middleweight George Groves insists that he won't be complacent when he faces European champion Christophe Rebrasse at Wembley Arena next weekend.

British super-middleweight George Groves has revealed that he considers Christopher Rebrasse to be a dangerous opponent ahead of their clash at Wembley Arena next weekend.

Groves is looking to return to winning ways after back-to-back defeats to Carl Froch, and while he is favourite to beat the Frenchman, the Londoner has insisted that he is prepared for a tough fight against the European champion.

The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "He's a champion, he has a good track record and he has never been stopped. He is coming as a European champion and he has dreams and ambitions and that makes him dangerous.

"I think I am better than him and I need to let him know that, but I won't be gung-ho. I won't go in swinging.

"For my own sanity rather than my reputation, I don't want to lose. I'm fully capable of winning and I will win."

The winner of the fight will become mandatory challenger for the WBC title, which is currently held by American Anthony Dirrell.
