Kid Galahad aiming for world title shot in 2015

British super-bantamweight Kid Galahad admits that he is looking to earn a shot at a world title in 2015.

British super-bantamweight Kid Galahad has revealed that he is hoping to fight for a world title against either Scott Quigg or Carl Frampton in 2015.

Quigg, the WBA champion and Frampton, the IBF title holder, recently continued their unbeaten runs to remain on collision course for early next year, and Galahad, who fights Adeilson Dos Santos in Sheffield this evening, is keen to face the winner of any potential showdown.

The 24-year-old is quoted by The Express as saying: "It's now about getting the right fights at the right time and building up towards a world title fight in 2015.

"I'm fully confident that I'll fight for a world title next year and I really hope I'll fight either Scott Quigg or Carl Frampton. Either of them will do. I personally believe that I'd beat them both on the same night."

Galahad, who currently holds the European and Commonwealth belts, will be competing for the IBF youth title on Saturday night.
