WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns has revealed that he told Terence Crawford to "shut up" during their weigh-in yesterday.
Burns faces the unbeaten American in Glasgow tonight in another tough world title defence, but believes that he is ready for the test.
Crawford goaded the Scottish crowd at yesterday's weigh-in before words were exchanged between the two fighters.
"To be honest I was struggling to hear what Crawford was saying," Burns told reporters.
"He said something about burying me and I just told him to shut up and that he'd get his answer in the ring.
"I have prepared for the toughest fight of my life and if Terence Crawford has not done likewise then that will be his problem."
The fight features an exciting undercard including Olympic medallists Anthony Joshua and Anthony Agogo.
