Free agent center Kendrick Perkins has reportedly agreed a deal to join the New Orleans Pelicans.
The 12-season NBA veteran spent last campaign at the Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors, but now finds himself looking for a franchise ahead of the coming 2015-16 season.
According to The AP, a source has stated that the two parties have reached a one-year agreement that would potentially see Perkins take a reserve spot behind starter Omer Asik.
Perkins has so far averaged 5.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across his career.
