Jordan Farmar has described the Los Angeles Lakers as a "work in progress" following their second defeat of the season.
The Lakers had a 15-point lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the second quarter, but their opponents fought back in the second half.
The point guard told reporters: "I think we know each other, but we definitely need a little more time. We're out there competing, trying to get it done.
"We didn't do much in the fourth quarter this time around, and it's tough. It's a work in progress. It's a long season, and there's going to be growing pains until we find our groove."
Farmar added seven points from the bench during last night's defeat.
