Mark Jackson has said that the Golden State Warriors have "got to be better" in order to make sure of their place in the playoffs.
The team is on the verge of sealing a spot in the post-season, but missed the chance to clinch their spot with a 100-99 defeat to the Denver Nuggets last night.
The coach told reporters: "We've got to be better. There's no ands, ifs or buts about it. We've got to be better, and we've got to do a better job of taking care of business and closing out possessions and putting teams away. We can't hide from that.
"I'm sure [the fans will] forgive us if we handle our business. It is definitely not ideal."
The Warriors face the Los Angeles Lakers later today.
