David Lee doubtful for playoffs with hamstring injury

David Lee could miss the start of the playoffs as he continues to battle with hamstring problems.

The Golden State Warriors have been dealt a blot ahead of the playoffs with the news that David Lee could miss the post-season games due to injury.

Lee has been struggling with a hamstring problem in recent weeks, and Warriors coach Mark Jackson admitted that the team do not know when they will have the 30-year-old back on the court.

"He's frustrated right now, and rightfully so," Jackson told members of the media.

"We don't know how long, but I tell you what, he's doing everything he possibly can to get back on the floor for this basketball team."

Golden State are currently sixth in the Western Conference.
