David Blatt praises Kevin Love defense

Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt praises Kevin Love for the improvement he has made on the defensive end of the court in recent games.

Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt has praised the level of Kevin Love's defense in recent games as he continues to improve within the team's system.

The Cavaliers have improved as a whole on the defensive end in recent outings as they have limited their opponents to 40.4% shooting over the last three games.

"In general, I would like to say, I think Kevin Love is playing the best defense of his career so far," Blatt told reporters.

"He can get better like all of us can, but he's doing a good job. He's buying into the system, into the principles, and he needs to continue to do that and we need to continue to involve him in the way that we are."

Love has also improved his offensive play after shooting 58% from the field over his last four games, but he agrees with his coach that he has made significant strides on the defensive end.
