Team GB's Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge become Britain's first men's badminton doubles medallists, claiming bronze at the 2016 Olympics.

Team GB's Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge have become Britain's first men's badminton doubles medallists.

The Brits triumphed in the 2016 Olympics bronze-medal match on Thursday, recording a 21-18, 19-21, 21-10 victory over their Chinese opponents Biao Chai and Wei Hong.

Ellis and Langridge are currently ranked at number 22 in the world, but battled their way through the pulsating match to create history in Brazil and continue what has been an excellent Games for Great Britain.

Team GB remain second in the medals table, claiming 19 golds, 20 silvers and 13 bronzes thus far. United States remain atop the table courtesy of 31 golds.
