Gareth Warburton, Rhys Williams hearing delayed

A hearing into the failed drugs tests of Welsh athletes Gareth Warburton and Rhys Williams is delayed until December.

Athletes Gareth Warburton and Rhys Williams have had a hearing into their failed drugs tests delayed until next month.

The Welsh pair were both withdrawn from their nation's Commonwealth Games squad after breaching UK anti-doping regulations during the summer.

Both athletes have stressed that they have never knowingly taken a banned substance but their cases will be heard at a hearing in December, with a ban of between one to four years being a possibility should they be found guilty.

Warburton competes in the 800m while Williams won the European 400m hurdles title in 2012.
