Sally Pearson has admitted that she was happy to see Eric Hollingsworth suspended by Athletics Australia following his criticism of her attitude.
Australia's athletics head coach Hollingsworth was forced to leave the Commonwealth Games after calling Pearson a "bad example" to her teammates, and the 27-year-old has suggested that she was not the only person to be targeted by him.
"My case was so less severe than anyone else's on the team, there are so many stories, I'm not going to name any names, but everyone has copped a lot of crap," Pearson, who took gold in the 100m hurdles on Friday, told reporters.
"I'm so glad that I really didn't have to lift a finger to get him off the team. I think that is the most important thing, to get rid of the negativity people have been having to bare for the last five years is very disappointing."
Pearson is the current holder of the Commonwealth, World and Olympic titles.
