London Fletcher approves of Jim Haslett choice

London Fletcher is pleased with Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden's decision to retain Jim Haslett as defensive coordinator.

Former Washington Redskins inside linebacker London Fletcher has insisted that Jim Haslett is the right man to continue as the club's defensive coordinator.

New head coach Jay Gruden decided to keep Haslett in the position that he has held for the past four years, and Fletcher said that it will help with the "continuity" for the Skins going into next season.

"I think it's good for him," Fletcher told the club's official website. "I know as far as continuity goes, guys will be happy with that part of it.

"It won't be a major learning curve for the guys who are returning."

The Redskins finished a disappointing 2013 season with a 3-13 record.
