Half-Time Report: Dallas Cowboys leading Washington Redskins by eight points

Dallas Cowboys lead the Washington Redskins by eight points at the half-time break at the AT&T Stadium.

Dallas Cowboys have opened up a 14-6 half-time lead over the Washington Redskins at AT&T Stadium.

DeMarco Murray rushed from four yards to put the home side ahead with just over six minutes on the clock, and Dan Bailey made no mistake with the boot.

Their advantage was eaten into before the end of the first quarter, with Kai Forbath nailing a 20-yard field goal to make it a four-point game.

Tony Romo was intercepted early in the second quarter as he attempted to find Cole Beasley, although it was the Cowboys who still found the next score.

The ball was punted to Dwayne Harris on his own 14 and he ran in an 86-yard touchdown to see the momentum swing fully in favour of the home side with just over two minutes remaining before half time.

Forbath was brought on with a second left on the clock to split the posts with a 32-yard kick, reducing their deficit to eight at the break.
