Report: La'el Collins still expects to sign with NFL team

Former LSU tackle La'el Collins reportedly still expects to sign with an NFL team despite not being selected in the Draft after being linked with a murder investigation.

LSU tackle La'el Collins reportedly still expects to sign for an NFL team in time for the 2015 season despite not being selected in this year's Draft.

The 21-year-old was considered one of the top prospects in this year's Draft class, but he was questioned by police investigating the murder of a woman and her young child just days before the annual Draft.

According the NBC Sport, Collins, who has not been named as a suspect in the case, is due to meet with police again on Monday, and hopes that he can sign as an undrafted free agent once his name is cleared.

Collins was in the SEC first team in 2014, while also being named the conference's best blocker during the last college season.
