The Houston Texans secured the number one pick in the 2014 NFL Draft due to their 16-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
The Texans had the perfect start to the game when they took the lead. Matt Schaub moved them downfield and when inside the five-yard line, he handed the ball off to running back Jonathan Grimes, who powered into the endzone for the touchdown.

It took until the second quarter for the Titans to get on the scoreboard and when they did it was only three points, as Houston managed to kill the drive led by Ryan Fitzpatrick and Rob Bironas made no mistake in dispatching his kick from 42 yards.
Just before the break, Kendall Wright made a huge reception to drag his side into field goal range off a wide-receiver screen and Bironas showed off his leg strength by booting a 55-yarder between the posts to make it a one-point game at half time.
The Titans came out stronger in the second half, and Wright was proving to be a problem for the Texans as he made another big gain off a deep route and that set up an 11-yard run for a touchdown by Chris Johnson.
Bironas extended his side's lead to nine points in the fourth quarter, but they were pegged back by the Texans to make it a six-point game as Randy Bullock kicked over from 19 yards. However, a late interception by Schaub ended the contest as the Titans held out.
