Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt has conceded that his side could be without linebacker Zach Brown for the rest of the 2014 season.
The 24-year-old sustained a suspected torn pectoral muscle in his side's opening-day win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Whisenhunt has admitted that it is frustrating for his side to lose a player that was just beginning to produce his best football.
"He was really doing a nice job, so I'm disappointed for Zach," Whisenhunt told reporters.
"To me, it means a lot when you do what is being asked of you and you change the perception of you. And I was hopeful that would continue from the standpoint of him having a good season. At this point, this juncture, it won't, and that's too bad."
The Titans face the Dallas Cowboys in their week two clash at LP Field.
