Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker has admitted that he needs to improve once the new NFL campaign is underway.
Despite catching a career-high 60 passes for 571 yards for six touchdowns last season, Walker is aiming even higher next term, targeting being alongside the elite players in his position in the league.
Under new coach Ken Whisenhunt, the 29 year old is also hopeful that the team can become one to watch, having failed to make the playoffs since 2008.
Walker told the Titans' official website: "Just being around coach Whisenhunt and his mindset and the philosophy that he has for us, I feel like we are going to be a team people have to watch out for.
"Personally, I've got to get better. I'm looking to catch 80 passes this year. Also, I'm going to help out all I can in the run game because I know it will pay off in the long run.
"We're going to have a great year this year and I'm ready for it."
Of all the tight ends in the league, only Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez, and Jordan Cameron caught 80 passes or more last season.
