Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht has revealed that the club are looking to add a veteran quarterback to compete with Mike Glennon for the starter's role in 2014.
Glennon replaced Josh Freeman as the starting quarterback at the club last season and performed well, throwing 19 touchdowns to just nine interceptions in his 13 matches.
When asked if the club were looking for a veteran quarterback, Licht told reporters: "Absolutely. New coach, new regime, you can't just hand the keys over and say this guy is our starter.
"You have to see what he is, and competition drives the best out of everybody. So, that's what we'll be looking for."
The Buccaneers had a 4-12 record in the 2013 campaign.
