Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano has revealed that running back Mike James is out for the season.
The rookie sustained a broken ankle during the first quarter of his side's win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday when running towards the goalline.
James was carted off the field and tests confirmed that he had indeed suffered a fracture and now as a result he will miss the rest of the campaign.
The Buccaneers are now without their top two backs as Doug Martin was placed on injured reserve last week with a shoulder injury.
