St Louis Rams general manager Les Snead believes that his side's acquisitions this off-season have improved the team.

The Rams allowed veteran running back Steven Jackson to leave the club along with wide receiver Danny Amendola.

However, Jeff Fisher's side added wideouts Tavon Austin and Steadman Bailey to their ranks along with tight end Jared Cook and tackle Jake Long.

Snead told NFL.com: "It's cool to have the youngest team. I think we've upgraded our talent. We're better. Now we gotta go on stage with it."

The Rams being their pre-season campaign against the Cleveland Browns next week.
