Seattle Seahawks quarterback BJ Daniels has admitted that he was fortunate that his new club showed an interest in him after he was placed on waivers by the San Francisco 49ers.
In the off-season the 49ers signed Chris Harper after the Seahawks released him, but Daniels does not think there is any element of revenge regarding his signing.
"I've never gone through this," Daniels told ESPN. "To be picked up by Seattle is a blessing.
"I don't agree with that at all. During my draft process, I had Seattle come and work me out. This is one of the places where I thought I might be drafted. I'm glad it worked out I'm here."
Daniels will be the club's third-choice QB.
